They are not what they claim to be.

Look at my avatar its Anunnaki for a reason I am an avid Sitchin reader but I still take things skeptically. I do believe they did exist at one time even Ridley Scott based his Space Jockeys off of The 12th Planet book that Z. Sitchin wrote. To me regardless if you believe him or not its really effin cool.

American Indians of the Americas have alot of stories concerning these giant men. If you study the legends of a site called Puma Punku in Bolivia there's a legend about Viracocha. Who was very tall pale skinned and came from the heavens and then arose from Lake Titicaca. Most skeptics cant admit there's something strange going on and then they say some bulls**t about Atlantis crap. Anyways Viracocha is said to have built Puma Punku in a single night. Whats also weird is that Puma Punku cannot be debunked at all the angles and inner stone cuts are laser-like precision and all mainstream archaeology can say with a thumb up their ass that it was made using stone tools...Thats where I come in and say f*** off you have NO idea at all and its pathetic, thats all "they" can come up with. If you ignore all the Ancient Alien show and actually look without being biased you'll find out that they never listen to geologists, radiologists, or even archaeoastronomy. Which has been proven to work and its very useful to finding out when these building were constructed. Like a building with a celestial alignment took place whether it would be the Sun, Moon, and/or Stars.

I think a lot ancient aliens were around and helped us advance, but they didn't create humans(in my opinion), and they didn't do everything for us. There was a bit of help, but us humans were a bit more advanced than we were thought to be if you ask me

MemberOvomorphApr-26-2013 4:46 PMNephilim, I love this sort of thing and I firmly believe in giant ETs. But if by 'skeleton findings' you mean some of these so-called photos of giant skeletons being unearthed - they are photoshopped and faked apparently. On some, it's quite blatantly falsified.

Chris White is nothing more than a regular guy who has watched too many National Geographic "history lessons". I am not saying he's not smart on the contrary about 8 years ago I would've agreed with him 100%. I used to think some of these things were bologny until you look at the actual side of things. I'm a skeptic too but also a believer at the same time its called being a skeliever.

It is interesting all the same, but yeah most of those "giant skeletons on the internet are photoshopped. Let me show you something that hasnt been falsified. Look up a site called Lovelock Cave, Nevada they have had real Universities investigating it. The story goes that at one time the Paiute Indians killed and burned these "red-haired giants" because they said to have been cruel and mean to the Indians. Years later a man looking for bat guano for use in his fields found inside many corpses that had red hair and were approximately 6.5ft all the way up to 7 to 8ft tall mummified remains of these people. You can even look and compare modern jaw bones to these skulls and they are massively huge. They look normal until you compare and contrast the other remember Shambhala this is how we compare things. Now I know that these mummies do not belong to that species, but the point is that the size does not prove that they are of extraterrestrial origin. Plus the hair pigment is not stable after death and various factors such as temperature and soil can turn ancient very dark hair rusty red or orange. Besides sometimes large sizes are due to Gigantism; ie the hyperplasia of the pituitary gland, which results in an abnormally high level of human growth hormone, as in the case of Robert Wadlow with 2.72 m.

You just have to show me a plasma gun, some carbon nanotubes and a space suit; and all this after the radiocarbon dating. Therefore, just because some cultures think that their gods come from the stars not mean that these gods exist, without proof is just mythology.
Moreover the argument from authority not help much. Christ White is not an archaeologist, but the content is based on archaeological studies and not on the fallacies of these hilarious guys who claim without any proof (or reliable methodology) that Puma Punku was built by aliens. If you believe in the words of a archaeologist who says that we were created or visited by aliens in the past only for his diploma and tie, then you are completely lost. There must be a consensus among legitimate experts in the subject matter under discussion (the scientific community for example). Plus more than the degree of authority, what really matters is the methodology that was used to generate knowledge.

MemberOvomorphApr-26-2013 10:31 PMI enjoyed Prometheus as much as anybody but I differentiate between that which I watch for entertainment and that which I accept as plausible. We do not have enough evidence to accept any ideas about giants or nephilim or any other mythical beings. The realm of mythology is metaphorical in nature and is best understood on that level. Trouble starts when we start to take ancient books literally regardless of the source. The human condition is one of mystery, not answers to our most profound questions. Thats my view on it - take it or leave it.

I dont think Puma Punku was built by aliens all I said was that when your dealing with precision like that you have to wonder. Thats why we debate here cuz its fun to talk about things like this. Just dont put me down about this kind of stuff I hate when people try to "convince" me. I have been into science since I was a kid and it urks me to know end when people just try to win an argument just so the other person shuts up. The red hair wasnt my point I was trying to make. Its how many and how tall they were. It was over 30 bodies discovered not just one big guy who has a growth pituatary gland problem. Anyways, back to what I was saying...They used all available tools at the time and NOT ONE had any kind of Acromegalae or growth issue. Carbon14 since they could use that kind of testing because they were well preserved bones and flesh. My point was every culture has said at one time or another have seen sightings of super tall looking all powder white skin people getting in and out of some type of 'spacecraft' or shiny metallic flying bird. Its mostly the Aymarra Indians because they live in the Bolivian highlands. Most scientists dont want stories or carvings on stone they want to hold the damn thing on their dissecting tables. I think you want the ultimate proof like their skin samples or space ship. What if we never get that type of proof? Do we keep searching or just ridicule someone until they go into obscurity?

MemberOvomorphApr-27-2013 2:54 AMReturning with the mummies, the majority are of normal size, actually was a little confusion with some bones of large mammals in the place because the only really big mummy was found by miners, and unfortunately much of the finding was destroyed.
Anyways one of the largest human being was the Giant of Castelnau from France. The height of this guy was estimated at about 3.5 m (11 ft 6 in), and the bones were dated to the Neolithic period. But even if there were giants in the past, there is no evidence that they are related to aliens, those are just extraordinary claims without extraordinary evidence.
BTW, it is not necessary so much passion in the discussions, it is better to use arguments and keep a cool mind. I'm just a skeptical guy, ie I don't try to convince anyone, I'm just using arguments in a discussion that I find interesting and yes, we need a derelict spacecraft with a space trucker to put it on the dissection Table. ;)

It provides insight into just how alien unfamiliar technologies can seem to a culture totally unprepared for exposure to it. Arthur C Clark was quoted as saying that any technology sufficiently advanced will appear to be magic to a less advanced culture.
