Do the big studios still license novelisations of new product? I'm reading the novel of AR currently but don't recall AvP getting a book. 'Prometheus' looks as if it has enough legs to warrant a literary treatment but I wonder if the studios regard the tie-in novel as obsolete now.

MemberOvomorph12/28/2011I checked and have discovered it more than likely will not be news until the movie is released because Scott will not want any secrets given away, so not even any news about whether or not it's in the works yet, but I assume it will get done eventually. Seems like a "No Brainer" to me.

MemberOvomorph12/28/2011I'm looking forward to reading the novel after watching the film. Nothing like a detailed story to give you views on character's thoughts and motivation.
