MemberOvomorph12/27/2011I'm intriqued to know what Ridley Scott was talking about in the '2 days to go' trailer. In this he said that inside the establishment the crew find dangerous elements that are capable of 'in a heartbeat inviserating all of them'. Is he talking about the green goo/bio former maybe or some other 'force'?

The word Scott used was “eviscerate,” which means to remove the entrails from or disembowel a person or an animal. Basically, he’s saying that these “elements” could GUT the humans like a fisherman might clean a fish…with the greatest of ease.

MemberOvomorph12/27/2011I looked up the word after I heard him say it because he tends to be very specific with his wording. I'm taking this word literally from him. I think that the "bioformer" will gut someone's molecules and reprogram them. Speculation though.

But...given the themes of this film...he at least means to kill.

Here is a great example of when you can expect to see someone be Eviscerated.
