Although we've known Woody Harrelson would star in the Venom movie for a while, we now have confirmation from Harrelson himself that he will not only star in Venom, but in the planned Venom movie sequel as well, currently dubbed Venom 2 - however we suspect the title will likely end up being something closer to Venom vs. Carnage, since Harrelson's character is all but confirmed to be Carnage - Venom's spawn and nemesis.
While speaking to Collider, Woody let the cat out of the bag:
I’m in a little fraction of this movie, but I’ll be in the next one, you know? So I haven’t read that script, but anyways, just rolled the dice.
As it stands, we know Venom will end with a cliffhanger, setting up for Carnage's reveal. Considering Woody just confirmed he'll be in a fraction of this movie but will definitely be in the next one basically confirms his role as Carnage.
