Legendary Pictures and Universal have pushed the release date for Steven DeKnight's Pacific Rim: Uprising (Pacific Rim 2) back one month, from its original Febrary 23rd, 2018 release date to March 23rd, 2018. The reason for the shift is unknown but it not a cause for concern.
Currently, Pacific Rim: Uprising is undergoing post-production vfx work. An official trailer was not debuted at Comic-Con last month, but a viral video showing off the film's new Jaegers and characters was released along with an official viral website. A release date for the first Pacific Rim: Uprising trailer has yet to be unveiled as well.
