The sequel to 2012's acclaimed DC comic brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us will be punching its way into stores on May 16, 2017, as director Ed Boon confirmed on Twitter. If that name sounds familiar, it's because he's the creator of Mortal Kombat, so he's obviously a pretty big figure in the gaming industry.
His studio NetherRealm are currently putting the finishing touches on Injustice 2, which once again see iconic DC characters such as Batman, Superman, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn and Gorilla Grodd coming together to bash each other’s faces in. What more could you possibly ask for?
The original Injustice was one of the most acclaimed games of 2012, so we'll definitely keep you updated on the sequel as its release date approaches.
