Official Plot Synopsis
Captain Joe Ryan prevails in capturing a prehistoric creature responsible for the disappearance of harbor authorities and fisherman. Although a University offers him good money to study the creature Joe decides to hand it over to a circus willing to pay more. The circus names the creature Gorgo, but when it's revealed that Gorgo is merely a adolescent its mother, Ogra, rises from the depths to rescue her child. London is ill prepared for Ogra's onslaught.
Directed by Eugine Lourie, Gorgo is a British Lion, MGM movie based on a screenplay by Robert L. Richards, Daniel James.
