Gamera vs. Jiger Plot

In preparation for the 1970 World's Fair, Japan removes an ancient statue from Wester Island called "The Devil's Whistle". Once the piece is taken a new, powerful adversary rises from the island's underground. Gamera confronts the monster, known as Jiger, but is left for dead after a lost battle. Scientists are convinced by kids to preform an exam on Gamera that reveals Jiger's offspring has been probed inside the Friend of all Children's lungs. With Jiger still active the children must find a way to kill the infant Jiger within Gamera and revive him for a final bout.
