End of 2014 is still possible/start of 2015, if they get it all under way in the next 3 to 6 months. Just a guess, but still possible I reckon.

I'll wait till it's in the pre-owned bin I think

Hate to have to tell you this Big Dave, but the Mayan calendar ended last year sometime. They didn't take into account the fact that Leap Years and Catholic holidays were introduced.......
Just So You Know, The Mayan Calender Already Ended

The Nostromo: 42 million in adjusted dollars, minus payload, of course.
The Prometheus: from what Vickers says, a trillion dollars. But that's for the whole mission, so I'm not sure how much R&D had to go into the whole thing, but it still seems off to me................
42 million WAS quite a lot of money when Aliens was made though...............

The "soul" is entirely a human created word. It is just a word that we use to describe what we hope is an ethereal part of our existence that continues existing after our physical bodies expire.
I don't believe in it at all. Or in any religion that claims to have an Almighty Creator. There is more physical proof of evolution than there is of a God or a soul.
No one has ever physically seen either. Those that claim to have, in my humble opinion, are liars.
Show me a photograph of God or someone's "soul," and I'll happily eat my words though
Religion is an excuse for war. And for the various heads of those religions to hold power over those that choose to put their faith in it. And it disgusts me to the core to be perfectly frank with you all. If there WAS a God, and WE were created in HIS image, then what does that say about this "God"?
I don't think he/she/it would be particularly pleasant in all honesty. Because look at OUR history as it stands. One of war and destruction, mostly over religions, and which is the "true" God.
So no, David does not have a "soul," but then again neither does Weyland, Shaw or anyone else that was on the Prometheus mission.
Ban religion and a lot of violence around the world would stop I believe, but then again knowing humanity we would find some other reason to fight and kill each other. It's in our nature. And if that nature was given to us by this "God," in it's own image, then I don't want any part of it.

He would have started singing The Doom Song I betcha

I'm gonna build me a Javelin gun with a line cutter slung underneath that sets enemies on fire when DS3 is released Svanya
it looks good for weapon building, but I'm really not sold on the co-op thing. I want to see the story from Issac's perspective, and not have to worry about playing with someone else as this Carver guy to get the whole thing. That is just rude as far as I'm concerned. But, it's EA, so I'm not surprised they did it. Jerks they are.

genjitsu is right I'm sorry to say Albert, it's only appeared on the 3D Blu Ray set. I have to say too, it's very well worth watching. It's amazing how much they reference the original Alien and yet still managed to fall so far off the mark with it.

Nov-12-2012 8:51 PM
He wants what's in the box!! OK Smithers, WHAT'S IN THE BOX!?!?!
*is kinda disappointed that there is only a bunch of leftover spaghetti in the box*

I LOVE these things, Hitler get extremely pissed when they cancel his Xbox LIVE account too. And his WoW account gets hacked

Oct-24-2012 11:02 PM
HAHAHA!!! Xenotron, you win this weeks Funny Comment! You can choose this deluxe washer and dryer set that the lovely Smithers is standing next to OR you can trade it in for what's in the Mystery Box! So what's it gonna be?

Oct-24-2012 7:38 PM
Actually, when you see something like that happen, it's not too far fetched to think that the flight-or-fight response in all humans would kick in and you'd just run like hell for the most open ground you can find. But it's still a bit retarded

Oct-24-2012 7:36 PM
*thumbs up*
I've watched it a few times myself and there were bits of the very first teaser trailer that I thought would scare the hell out of me when I finally saw it in cinemas. Like the scene where Shaw gets hit by the storm, originally I thought that was a scene of a spaceship tearing open and someone getting sucked out, helpless, into space. When Shaw (again) collapsed in the doorway of the medical room I originally thought that she was changing into something else, something gangly and horrible and Alien, it just seems a hell of a lot creepier, particularly with the music used for the trailer.
But no, what we got was "essentially a prequel" that at the end of the day isn't, they still can't make their minds up about that, yet refer to the original Alien SO MUCH in the Making Of, it's really starting to irk me a little.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. This would have made a GREAT film if it had never been attached to the Alien Universe.
And I fully agree with the tall albino speaking urdhu too. That isn't very Alien-esque at all in my mind. And that thing at the end? I thought Ridley said we wouldn't be seeing any "proto Xenos" *fuck I hate using that X word -_-* or "proto-facehuggers."
I won't be trusting him again to follow through on an already established story *Alien* not after seeing all the extras on the Blu Ray I was given *because I refused to pay again*

Oct-23-2012 5:56 AM
Ah. I getcha now.
It seems to me that yes, the eggs Dallas and Brett were turning into would indeed end up having facehuggers in them. And it was a very good idea which I think should have been continued through the series. Seriously chilling.

Oct-23-2012 5:08 AM
None of this makes any sense....................

Oct-23-2012 4:55 AM
Hate to tell you this but the end of the Mayan calendar has already happened.
Already Happened

Oct-23-2012 1:37 AM
Sorry, but it is not CONFIRMED, unless of course you work for Scott Free Productions and were involved in the making of the movie and know for a fact that this is what was intended.
Good theory though

Oct-22-2012 7:46 AM
Yet in The Furious Gods: The Making Of Prometheus, Ridley Scott says, and I quote,
"It's essentially a prequel"
@smegheaD, for 20 odd years I wanted to know how the Space Jockey ended up on that planetoid with a hole in his chest and why he had a hold full of Alien eggs. I don't know if I will ever find out in this lifetime, unless perhaps I do the damn thing myself for you all..........................

Oct-14-2012 7:27 PM
I counted at least 2 or 3 taking off in the vehicle when Fifield is crushed by it, they must have just waited on the planet till they ran out of food and oxygen, or both. No one knows what ended up happening to those guys......................

I second this Sabot and Heat. Heartily. And I still hate the term "Xenomorph" for the Alien
