DWC Jurassic World Christmas

       It was 8 am in the morning Owen watched out his window at the park gates that opened allowing people to continue onto the monorail and into the park. He got out of bed and got ready for his day. It was Christmas Eve. The island was decorated with Christmas decor. Their was even a large christmas tree in the innovation center.

     Owen walked over to the raptor cage on the side of his house. When he arrived the three males where still asleep and the female was laying on the ground watching him with open eyes. Owen looked at her and quietly said "watch this." Owen grabbed hold of the bars and shook them screaming. The sleeping raptors jumped up cautiously looking back and forth. Owen was laughing his head off. The female was amused as well she let out a snarl. The other raptors let out fierce screams at Owen. "Take it easy, it was only a joke." Let's get ready for training. The raptors went right back down to sleep.

    Owen walked over to the storage shed. He opened the doors and walked over to a freezer. He grabbed a large carcass and a meat cleaver and cut of a large slab of meat. He carried the meat to a open field where he did his training. He dropped the meat and yelled "breakfast!" He opened the cage, but the raptors where still sleeping. The female walked over slowly to the meat. "Good girl." Owen said. He noticed she was walking weird. Their was a lump in her belly. "Are you pregnant? Well I'll be damned. Eat up girl I'll be back soon." Owen left the raptor to her meal and hopped on his motorcycle.

    He followed the path up a road he always takes. He could hear people in the distance. He parked near a clearing near the monorail station, put his kickstand up and went in the employees only line. He got on the next train and sat in the front car. The train took off with a slight hum of the electric engine, and it sped down the track. "Welcome to a land before time a time when dinosaurs ruled the earth. Welcome to Jurassic World!" Owen had started to hate hearing that entry everyday on his ride. They passed the gates, and he caught a glance at the Mosasaur feeding show before the windows where covered with water after the mosasaur splashed back into the lagoon. "We are now approaching Innovation Station. Next stop Sauropod Station." Owen got off and climbed down the stairway. He walked past lots of Christmas decorations. The place was covered in holiday decorations. Christmas music sounded on the loud speaker, wreaths hung on the store doors, and their was even a man in a T-Rex wearing a Santa suit costume. He finally arrived at his destination, the innovation center.

       The building was packed. Especially since it was holiday season. He pushed through the crowds and over to an elevator. The doors opened and Owen swiped an ID card. The elevator started going down bellow the innovation center where the public wasn't allowed. The doors opened to the first underground floor, the control room. "Mr. Masarani!" Owen walked into the room. "Yes, hello Owen." Owen walked over to him. "Mr. Masarani I have great news." "Well, what is it?" Come with me, also get Claire as well." The three headed up to Owens house.

     "Mr Masarani. Your not going to believe this. The female, she's pregnant." They walked over to the fence to find two raptors. "Where are the others?" "I'm not sure sir." Owen yelled commands to the two raptors. They both got up and waited for Owens command.

      Owen climbed on his motorcycle and raced along the jungle with the other two raptors and Claire by his side. Masarani went back to the park to call an emergency lockdown. Eventually the raptors slowed down. "What did you find guys." Owen looked ahead and found the two raptors. The female curled around something and the male warning them to keep away. Owen got off his bike and told the others to stay. He started to slowly approach, but the male screeched in his face. "Easy boy!" The female looked up at its mate and have him an approving look. Owen approached slowly and found the female was curled around a nest. Inside was a clutch of 3 eggs. "Claire, come over here look at this. Claire approached the scene. " Wow, raptor eggs." "The first bred raptors at Jurassic World." Said Claire. "We're going to need to take them back." "Bad idea." Said Owen. "They seem very protective over the eggs." That's true, though what are we going to do?" "I'm not sure guess well have to figure that out later."

Christmas Day:

    It was early Christmas Day Owen called his family wishing them a happy holiday and decided to check on the raptors. The other two were still asleep in their pen. Owen hopped on his bike and rode over the the nest. He couldn't believe his eyes. The adults where nuzzling their new born babies. This is impossible Owen thought. They where just laid yesterday. He walked over to get a closer look. The adults didn't mind much. He looked at the three. One was a dark green color with blue stripes, their was a light green one with dark green stripes and then their was the big one. It was a lot different than the rest. It was a tanish orange color with tiger like stripes. "It's a Christmas miracle." Owen exclaimed astonished. Later that day Claire and a few maintenance workers came over. The adults where sedated and the hatchlings where taken to the hatchery to be cared for. This was a great Christmas for Jurassic World. It was a beautiful day, the park was busier than ever and it had 3 new editions to the park.
