November 6th 2012 sees the worldwide launch of the fourth installment in the [b]Halo[/b] franchise (seventh/eighth including spin-offs), and the return of the [b]Master Chief[/b] in the first of a new trilogy, set five years after the events of [b]Halo 3[/b]. The game will be set on the derelict [b]UNSC[/b] vessel the [b]Forward Unto Dawn[/b] and the planet [b]Requiem[/b]. According to the official website...

...[b]Master Chief[/b] will face off against [b]The Covenant[/b] once again, while also battling a new race known as [b]The Prometheans[/b], themselves harnessing [b]Forerunner[/b] technology and weaponry.
[b][u]New Weapons ,Vehicles and Enemies[/u][/b]
[b]Halo 4[/b] will feature over many new weapons, a handful of new vehicles and a whole new race of enemies in the [b]Promethean's[/b], as shown below.
[b][u]New Features and Trivia[/u][/b]
[i]343 Industries[/i] describes the all new [b]Spartan Ops[/b] mode as a video game equivalent of a TV serial. This new mode replaces [b]Firefight[/b] mode of previous games. Each week a 5-10 minute cinematic movie clip is released along with an episode composed of 5 chapters telling the story of [b]Spartan Fireteam Crimson[/b]. These 5 chapters are co-operatively played missions based on existing multiplayer maps.
Another key feature of [b]Halo 4[/b] is the [b]Spartan Hub[/b], where players can unlock items, abilities and armor to personalize their Spartan as they progressively level up during online play. Upon reaching level 50 players can choose to unlock extras from two extra suits of armor in what is called [b]Specialization[/b]. Purchasers of the game brand new will also receive another 6 [b]Specializations[/b], further adding to the customization choices for their Spartan.
It has also been revealed that by completing the campaign on [i]Legendary[/i] difficulty, players will unlock the [b]Master Chiefs[/b] armor for use in multiplayer.

AdminAtmanNov-10-2012 6:55 PMI picked up Halo 4 just the other day, been playing it every day and I must say - the visuals are fantastic. Truly incredible. And the story line again, lives up to expectations, classic HALO feel to it. Very happy with it right now.
Oh and the new weapons are crazy, "Prometheans" are the Forerunner guardians and they're pretty bad ass as well.
