To post links in the forum you can either use the "URL" tool in the toolbar on the text editor, or you can manually insert custom links.

To insert links manually, you need to encase the link with "URL" tags.

To make your link clickable, you must insert the link between these two tags. So, if I wanted to link to SciFiMoviesNetwork.com, I would insert the following into my post:


This would render the following:

http://www.scified.com/

Note - you must ensure the http:// and domain extension .com, .net, .org, etc... are surrounding the domain name.

To add custom or descriptive text for your link, you can modify the tag like so. Again, I'm linking to SciFiMoviesNetwork.com, but now I want the anchor text to say "Click here to visit the SFMN homepage":


This would render the following:

Click here to visit the SciFied homepage

When posting links, please ensure you use these URL tags, as HTML links will NOT be rendered and plain text links without the wrapping URL tags will NOT be clickable.
